A busy Kindergarten Week

Here at CCS Kindergarten we have had a very busy couple of weeks.  Last week we enjoyed yuck soup.  It was fun to combine all of the different snacks and then eat them all together.  Mrs. Williams had a lot of fun doing the mixing.

This week we were able to visit the Downtown Omaha Fire station.  We learned a lot about fire safety and just how important fire fighters are in our community.

Kindergarten Butterflies

unnamed[1] unnamed[2]Thank you to Mrs. Valenti for giving the kindergarten classes the awesome opportunity to see all the stages of a Monarch butterflies life cycle.  Yesterday we were able to see the butterflies as they emerged from their chrysalis.  At the end of the day we released both butterflies outside.
