Cornerstone Christian School presents two music programs each year. The Christmas Program is in early December and the Spring Program is in April. Friends and family are invited to attend our musical celebrations.
Beyond the Bell
Elementary students are offered the opportunity several times to continue their learning after the school day ends. These activities range from making Christmas crafts to learning about animals through animal visits.
Drama Club is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the creative talents and skills that God has given to our students. Our 5th-8th grade Drama Club is directed by Dr. Deb Kippley, Chief Creative Officer at the Papillion La Vista Arts Network. The fall semester of drama club focuses on technique and specific skill sets within acting, singing, and dance, with the spring semester spent in preparation for a production.
To enhance the classroom education that students receive at Cornerstone, each student is given the opportunity to participate in classroom field trips. Each field trip is planned to further the education that they are receiving in the classroom. Examples of activites include: the Henry Doorly Zoo, the IMAX theater, the Gifford Farm, the Arbor Day Farm, the Rose Theater and the State Capital in Lincoln.
Cornerstone Christian School provides after-school care for our elementary students. The program is from 3:20 to 5:30 and includes homework time, crafts, snacks, and activities. The daily fee is $6.00 per student and the drop-in rate is $7.00. Please call the office if you would be interested in registering your student(s).
